Continuous Waste Tire Pyrolysis Plant (Drum Running Model)

Advanced Energy Recovery & Sustainable Industrial Solutions Since 1968

Global Landscape of Waste Tire Pyrolysis

The global industrial sector is undergoing a massive shift towards a Circular Economy. Among the most pressing environmental challenges is the management of End-of-Life Tires (ELTs). Every year, billions of tires reach the end of their functional life, presenting both a hazard and a significant resource opportunity. The Continuous Waste Tire Pyrolysis Plant (Drum running model) has emerged as the gold standard for high-capacity, efficient, and environmentally friendly tire recycling.

The Drum Running Model: Engineering Excellence

Unlike traditional batch systems, the Drum Running Model utilizes a horizontally rotating reactor. This design ensures that the feedstock—whether it be tire blocks or rubber powder—is constantly agitated. This movement maximizes heat transfer and prevents localized overheating, which is critical for producing high-quality pyrolysis oil and recovered carbon black (rCB).

⚙️

Continuous Operation

Our plants are designed for 24/7 operation. The continuous feeding and discharging system eliminates the downtime associated with cooling and reheating, significantly increasing the ROI for industrial operators.

🌿

Environmental Compliance

Equipped with advanced multi-stage dedusting systems and gas scrubbers, our plants meet the most stringent EU and US emission standards, ensuring a zero-pollution footprint.

Global Industry Trends & Market Demand

As governments worldwide implement "Extended Producer Responsibility" (EPR) policies, the demand for industrial-grade pyrolysis equipment has skyrocketed. In Europe and North America, the focus is on Recovered Carbon Black (rCB) quality, as tire manufacturers look to incorporate sustainable materials back into new tire production. In emerging markets like Southeast Asia, India, and Africa, the primary driver is Waste-to-Energy (WtE), utilizing pyrolysis oil as a heavy fuel substitute for industrial boilers and furnaces.

Regional Procurement Needs

  • Europe: High demand for fully automated, PLC-controlled systems with ASME and CE certifications.
  • Southeast Asia: Focus on high-throughput systems capable of handling large volumes of varied scrap rubber.
  • Middle East: Specialized requirements for heat-resistant components and energy-efficient cooling systems.

The Science Behind Continuous Pyrolysis

The pyrolysis process involves the thermal decomposition of organic material in the absence of oxygen. In our Drum Running Model, the process is refined to maximize the yield of high-value outputs:

  1. Pre-treatment: Tires are shredded into blocks (5-10cm) or ground into powder, depending on the plant configuration.
  2. Feeding: An automated screw feeder pushes the material into the rotating reactor, maintaining an air-tight seal.
  3. Reaction: The drum rotates at a controlled speed, ensuring the material is evenly heated to 400-450°C.
  4. Condensation: Oil gas passes through a multi-stage condenser, where it is cooled into liquid pyrolysis oil.
  5. Discharge: Carbon black and steel wire are automatically separated and discharged through a water-cooling screw conveyor.

Future Trends: AI & Automation

We are currently integrating AI-driven predictive maintenance and IoT monitoring into our latest models. These "Smart Pyrolysis" plants allow operators to monitor temperatures, pressures, and flow rates in real-time from anywhere in the world, ensuring peak performance and safety.
